Member of the National Assembly (MNA) Abdul Waseem has said that transportation and cleaning play a significant role in the development of cities.
He said this while inspecting carpeting of road in Sector 5-G New Karachi Zone here, said a statement issued on Saturday. MNA Abdul Waseem said water supply and sewerage system also leave effects on behaviour of the people. Earlier, the engineers and contractors briefed the MNA with regard ongoing development works. MNA A.Waseem had paid special attention to the development works in Constituency NA-243, where various development projects have been executed with the special development fund of MNA Abdul Waseem.
68 rescued children handed over to Edhi Welfare: At least 68 children, rescued from two oil companies, have been handed over to Edhi Welfare. According to sources, the children were without security passes and did not have any identity documents. The rescued children were handed over to Edhi Welfare. According to police officials, the Port Qasim Authority was informed that two oil companies have employed children for work. The security officials rescued children from the oil companies.
