Rawalpindi police in its crackdowns against anti-social elements have arrested 16 outlaws, including four suspected dacoits and recovered illegal weapons, drugs and liquor.
According to a spokesman of Rawalpindi Police, 1350 grams charras, 20 bottles of liquor, eight 30-bore pistols with 32 rounds, one 32-bore revolver with three rounds, one dagger and one Kalashnikov with 20 rounds were recovered from the possession of arrested persons. Meanwhile, Wah Cantt police arrested four suspected dacoits identified as Muhammad Shehzad son of Muhammad Mushtaq resident of Ghari Afghanan Taxila tehsil, Shahid Mahmood, son of Aziz Ahmed, Asif Muhammad, son of Muhammad Taj and Saeed Ahmed, son of Abdul Hameed, and recovered one Kalashnikov with 20 rounds and three 30-bore pistols with 15 rounds.
