At least eight security personnel were killed and five others injured in a clash with extremists and a roof collapse incident in North and South Waziristan agencies on Saturday. Per details, militants attacked a convoy of security forces while it was passing through Tiyarza tehsil of South Waziristan Agency (SWA). Four security personnel were killed in the attack while three others sustained injuries. In a separate incident, the roof of a security forces’ bunker located in Shakai area of North Waziristan Agency (NWA) caved in due to heavy rain the previous night. As a result, four security personnel were killed while two others sustained serious injuries.
