President Awami National Party (ANP) Khyber Pakhtunkhawa, Afrasiyab Khattak said on Thursday that Tanwal would be given status of a district during the next week. Talking to media persons during a ceremony regarding the party joining of former MNA Nawabzada Salahuddin and MPA Habib ur Rehman, Afrasiyab Khattak hoped that inclusion of the two politicians in ANP would strengthen the party further. He claimed that ANP was gaining public support with each passing day and soon it would be the most popular party in Hazara Division. The ANP leader said that his party-led KP government was taking all possible steps to facilitate the masses of the province. He said that formation of Tanwal district would fulfill the long awaited demand of the people of the area.
