Pakistan’s ‘Lamha’ gets a spot at New York film festival

A Pakistani feature film, titled Lamha, will be screened at the famous New York City International film festival (NYCIFF). NYCIFF is an annual event held at Times Square, New York. Film producer and CEO of Bodhitta Works said that the film was among the 100 short films selected out of 3,000 films. It has also been nominated for Best Producer, Best Director, Best Writer and Best Actor Awards category. The cast and crew are hopeful for their chances of winning several awards. Lamha (known as Seedlings English internationally) stares Mohib Mirza, Amina Sheikh and Gohar Rasheed. It has been produced by Meher Rasheed and Summer Nicks and was directed by Mansoor Mujahid. The story is Pakistan-based and does not carry political and social agendas.
