The Islamabad District Court Bar Association (IDCBA) has hosted a get-together for all the judges of lower judiciary on July 5, for easing the current tension between both of them, said IDCBA General Secretary Chaudhry Muhammad Ayub Arbab Gujjar on Wednesday.
In a meeting of the bar association, he said that all legal fraternity was stood with judiciary and there were no personal grudges against the judges who had been transferred on the request of the IDCBA. He said they were not practising the code of conduct properly, so lawyers’ community was fed up with their rash attitudes with them and litigants.
IDCBA President Syed Javed Akbar Mashhadi showed great expectations from judiciary and stated that both segments had to play under their parameters.
He thanked Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry of the Supreme Court and Chief Justice Iqbal Hammed-ur-Rehman of the Islamabad High Court for intervening in the matter and solving it on priority.
