Violence leaves seven more dead

At least seven more people were gunned down in different areas of the city on Tuesday, police said. According to the details, suddenly a wave of violence started in different areas of the metropolis and four people were killed within an hour. Two people were shot dead at Baldia Town, Orangi Town, and a trader was gunned down in SITE area. In another incident, Gulzar Alvi, head constable, was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Gulbahar, Nazimabad area. Alvi, father of three children, was targeted when he was on his way to duty. His body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for legal formalities. In yet another incident, an unidentified tortured dead body was found near zoo, Garden area. Zahid Khan was killed in Quaidabad area in dacoits’ firing. On the other hand, police arrested two suspects involved in several cases of robberies from Shara-e-Fisal area. Police have registered cases of all the incidents and started investigation.
