The Supreme Court suspended National Assembly membership of PML-N lawmaker Malik Jamil Awan in dual nationality case.
A three-member bench of the Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry heard the petition seeking disqualification of lawmakers holding dual nationality.
Earlier, the SC had suspended the National Assembly membership of PPP’s Zahid Iqbal.
It is pertinent to mention here that the court had also suspended the memberships of Farahnaz Ispahani and Rehman Malik for holding dual nationalities.
If dual nationality is allowed to enter the Electoral System ,a day wilk come when Bush or Raymond Davis will be our PM OR president.Their first step will be to get married some Pakistani or just a paper marriage will be sufficient.
