The Punjab government has announced that it would set up camps at all government hospitals to provide speedier medical service to patients.
The strike has led to a shortage of doctors and increasingly dissatisfied patients who have been unable to get medical attention. Management has assured that they are focusing on ameliorating the problem and are speeding up their hiring process.
Apart from camps, other steps are also being taken including calling upon the services of army doctors and increasing the number of doctors in charge of teaching hospitals.
