Punjab law minister Rana Sanaullah has said that protesting doctors could not be given relaxation any more as they have sabotaged the peace of the hospitals besides leaving the patients at mercy of fate.
Talking to media persons on Monday, Rana Sanaullah said that young doctors while protesting for acceptance of demands left the humanity and social norms behind and without care about loss of innocent lives.
Inhuman attitude of young doctors is not tolerable at all and strict action would be taken against those who tried to sabotage peace and played with the innocent lives, he added.
The provincial minister said that doctors are bound to follow services act. He said the provincial government has prepared strategy to deal the protestors with iron hands.
He added that government spent billions of rupees from public money on doctors for their education but protests spoiled the entire investment.
He further said that whatever the situation is, patients in public hospitals would not be left unattended and provincial government has made preparations in this regard.

  1. These doctors must be sent to jail . they must be dealt tightly, so that in future no bugger should act like this. This is the most unfortunate that for their few thousands they are playing with their lives. In the evening they are doing their own private practice and making millions of rupees.

  2. These buggers must be dealt with iron hands and they should be sent to jail. Kuttey ke bachey hein yeh young doctors.

  3. Yeh jo strike pe hein apney baap k nai hain. sab haraam k hein jo ess tarah patients ko tarapta huha choar re hein. enn zaleelon ko shoot karna chaheehey.

  4. The young doctors have a point. I am not a doctor but I know that the conditions under which they work and the low salary they get is unfair. These doctors get no more than 30 to 35k Rs / month. Same level of doctors easily earn Rs90k which translates to Rs180k Pakistani. That is 6 times the salary of a Pakistani doctor.

It's no wonder these doctors then do FCPS or USMLE steps and then move abroad where their talents and careers are valued several fold. The govt should be the ones to blame, they waste resources on useless programs like the Laptop scheme instead of boosting salaries for these doctors which they deserve in the first place.
