Nine children, including two brothers, were injured in an explosion at a garbage mound on Saturday.
According to Qabula police, some explosive material was buried under a heap of garbage at Mohallah Pir Hazoori.
As a result, Muhammad Umar Iqbal, Jamshed Iqbal, Kinza Abbas, Mohsin Alyas, Manzoor Ali Muhammad, Naeem Bashir, Shahzad Siddique and two brothers Mudassar Akram and Waqas Akram sustained burn wounds.
The injured were shifted to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital, from where Jamshed Iqbal and Umar Iqbal were referred to Sahiwal for being in a critical condition.
