LPG prices plummet by Rs 15/kg

The prices of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) have gone down by Rs 15 per kilogramme in the country after a prominent fall in international LPG prices. LPG Distributors Association Chairman Bilal Jabbar said on Sunday that the LPG price in the international market had been reduced by $133 per tonne, causing a consequent decrease in its price in Pakistan. In accordance with the new LPG rates, the price of LPG cylinder for domestic use will decrease by Rs 180 and the price of LPG cylinder for commercial use will fall by Rs 720 per cylinder. The LPG will be sold in Punjab, Azad Kashmir and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at Rs 105 per kilogramme; in Sindh and Balochistan at Rs 100 per kilogramme; and in Gilgit-Baltistan at Rs 110 per kilogramme. The new LPG prices will come into effect on Tuesday (tomorrow).
