Rajesh Chauhan, coach of TP Sudhindra, who was banned for life, has asked his pupil to appeal for mercy.
Obviously, Chauhan is not happy with what his ward has done and brought shame.
“What to tell about these youngsters… Once they come to limelight, indulge in wrong-doings,” he said over telephone.
“My advice to Sudhindra would be to go for mercy appeal rather than fighting the case in court.” “The player knows about his crime and if he has admitted his guilt, the best option would be to apply for a mercy.”
Elaborating more about his family, Rajesh Chauhan says, “Sudhindra hails from the middle-class sports loving family.
His paternal uncles used to play the game with us and they inspired him to adopt this game”.
“My advice to Sudhindra would be to write a mercy appeal to the BCCI instead of fighting the case in the court. Sudhindra knows his crime and if he has admitted his guilt he should ask for the mercy.”
