Tigers win Premier T20 Women Cricket

Lahore Tigers defeated Lahore Eagles by eight runs to lift the Premier Twenty20 Women Cricket Championship trophy here at the Kinnaird College ground on Thursday. Batting first, Lahore Tigers scored 101 runs for the loss of six wickets in 20 overs. Sania Khan scored 32 runs and Sidra Ameen 25. Nida Dar claimed nine wickets for three runs while Nimra Imran got one. In reply, Lahore Eagles could manage 93 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs. Komal made 44 runs and Hina added 14. Hafsa got two wickets. Sania Khan was named player of the final match. MPA Khawaja Imran Nazir was chief guest at the colorful concluding ceremony and distributed prizes among the top performers. LRCA Secretary Mian Javed Ali, Treasurer Sarfraz Ahmad, former team manager Azhar Zaidi, cricketer Wahab Riaz, KC sports head Ms Nausheen, KC coaches Irfan Ullah and Nadeem Zafar and others were also present on the occasion.
