The Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) has deplored what it termed `harassment incidents of its inspection teams by unruly mobsters in Gulistan-e-Jauhar and C-Centre areas on Thursday’. A KESC statement on Friday asked the authorities to provide peaceful and secure environment to KESC employees for performance of their responsibilities. It said that the KESC also asked the saner sections of society to prevail upon such undesired elements that could disrupt smooth functioning of the power utility.
