Arbab Sikandar Flyover to be opened for traffic on Aug 14

Several development projects in Peshawar for beautification and smooth flow of traffic in the city are in progress and all available resources were being utilized for the purpose.
This was stated by Director General (DG) Peshawar Development Authority (PDA) Qazi Laeeq Ahmed while talking to media persons after observing projects in the city on Saturday.
He said that Rs870 million were being spent on Arbab Sikandar Khan Flyover project being constructed at GT Road and it would be opened for all kinds of traffic on Aug 14, this year.
Qazi Laeeq said that completion of the said flyover would ease burden of traffic at GT Road. He said that development work on Mufti Mehmood Flyover was also in progress and it would be completed by Aug 2013.
The DG PHA said that underway Ring Road widening project from Charsadda Road to Pajjagi road costing Rs360million would be completed in three months.
He urged the officials concerned and contractors of the development projects to ensure use of quality material and timely completion of work. He also warned that anyone found guilty in any kind of slackness would not be spared.
