Islamabad High Court (IHC) Friday issued show cause notice to Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Former president ZTBL, Zaka Ashraf pertaining to dismissal of an officer from the government service.
According to sources, despite the stay order of the court, Zaka Ashraf had dismissed former Chief Internal Auditor of ZTBL, Muhammad Nadeem Chohan on carrying out the ZTBL’s audit.
Owing to the dismissal from the service, Muhammad Nadeem Chohan contacted the court, upon which the Justice Anwar Khan of IHC issued show cause notices to former President ZTBL, Zaka Ashraf, and executive president Chaudhry Asghar and Imtiaz Ahmed.
The court said that all of them could be charged in contempt of court case over non compliance of the court order.
