At least two persons including a woman were killed and several others injured in fresh spate of target killing in different areas of the city on Wednesday. According to police, bullet riddled and tortured dead body of a woman was recovered from 100-quarters area of Korangi. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) where identity of the deceased was confirmed as Sanjeeda Begum. Police said that the shooting incident could be outcome of personal enmity. In another incident, some unidentified car riders threw away dead body of a youth near Baghdadi police station in Lyari and fled the scene. The youth was tortured and shot dead. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital for post mortem. Two persons identified as Asif and Muhammad Fahim were injured in separate firing incidents in Mauripur and Shah Faisal Colony, while six others were injured in violent incidents in other areas of the city.
