Diaz partners Tag Heuer to support UN Women

Throughout her career, Cameron Diaz has been known for being very selective about aligning herself with brands. However, the actress said she made an exception for TAG Heuer by becoming its ambassador as she loved that TAG Heuer challenges the rules and thinks outside the box. As the ambassador for the brand’s Link Lady watches, Diaz says she is honoured to be associated with such an iconic and forward-thinking brand. When asked about her definition of luxury, she said: “Luxury is anything that makes you feel good. To me, luxury is about quality, not extravagance.” She said the Link Lady is a perfect watch for the confident, elegant, modern woman who sees her watch as a piece of her favourite jewellery. Women empowerment being an important issue for Diaz, she decided to partner with TAG Heuer to benefit UN Women. She said: “It means a lot to me that TAG Heuer shares my desire to bring attention to wonderful organisations like UN Women. I feel a responsibility to support women who are not free to pursue even the most basic goals, just because of their gender.” When asked about her biggest challenge in life and about her next one, she replied: “I don’t think about challenges, I consider them opportunities to learn and grow. I consider having the career I have a great gift and I try to never lose sight of how fortunate I am to be able to do what I do. I look forward to finding new and different ways to express myself creatively and to share what I’ve learned with others.”
