SSP Yousuf Malik has said that no one within the department would be allowed to commit any kind of embezzlement and only those following the policy of zero tolerance against corruption would survive.
He stated it during a special briefing to the police officials here at National Library, which was also attended among others by SP (City) Muhammad Ilyas, SP (Rural) Faisal, SDPOS, SHOs of all the police stations, patrolling officers, investigation officers and those performing duties at police pickets. The SSP said the policy of zero tolerance against corruption would be pursued because this menace seriously undermines the image of the force. He said there is no room for corrupt elements and black sheep bringing bad name to the department would not be tolerated.
