Fiqr Writing Forum President Zia ul Haq Naqshbandi has written a book on the 80 years of Nusrat Bhutto titled “Madar-e-Jamhooriat” that was launched on Wednesday.
The book covers all the aspects of Nusrat’s life, beginning from her family, childhood, youth and marriage and her political struggles. Details of her contributions for democracy have also been covered in detail. The book also contains rare pictures of Nusrat and her family. It also describes Nusrat’s meeting with Zulifqar Ali Bhutto in the jail during his last days.
Critics have said the book covers all the aspects of the country’s political scene from General Zia ul Haq to Pervez Musharaf.
