The Supreme Court (SC) has directed the federal government to fill the vacant positions of judges in special courts on immediate basis. During the hearing of a case on the appointments of judges in special courts, a three-member SC bench headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry ordered the government to appoint judges within three days and produce a report in this regard before the court on July 2 after the implementation of the court’s order.
The CJP said in his remarks that the criminals were freed due to the lack of judges, discrediting the courts. The deputy attorney general told the bench that there was no judge in the Anti-Corruption Court in Karachi since 25 May 2011. The court issued instructions that the judges should be appointed within three days in Anti-Corruption Courts in Karachi and Hyderabad. In addition, all the vacant posts of judges in the court must be filled at an early date, the SC ordered. It also mentioned in its written order that the judges were not posted to the Banking Courts and Accountability Courts, and the accused were languishing in jails without any trial.
Why the SC is always in a hurry…. the Government should increase the number of toilets in the SC otherwise these judges will not dare to smudge the entire walls of political scene with their dirt in their mind…….
This is utter dictatorial attitude of SC ….. it won't stand long… am sure… and affirmative..
