Pakistan Press Council (PCP) Chairman Raja Shafqat Abbasi on Tuesday strongly condemned the attack on the offices of an English daily and a private television channel in Karachi wherein two staffers injured seriously. Talking to APP here, the PCP chairman demanded of the government to take steps for provision of protection to the media persons against the miscreants and arrest the culprits involved in the incident. He said the freedom of press and free flow of information were the fundamental rights of every citizen of Pakistan granted under Articles 19 and 19-A of the Constitution.
