International Security Assistance Forces (ISAF) chief General John Allen called on Chief of the Army Staff General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani here on Wednesday.
He arrived in Pakistan to discuss issues related to border cooperation between the Pakistani Army and NATO forces stationed in Afghanistan.
Media reports said the army chief expressed concerns over reluctance of NATO forces to take action against militants based in Afghan, who launched attacks in Pakistani territory. Several Pakistani soldiers have been killed in clashes with militants, who entered from Afghanistan this week.
The army chief told Gen Allen that the militants returned back to Afghanistan and roamed freely in the war-torn country after launching attacks on Pakistani forces.
Kayani demanded of the NATO general to take action against the Maluvi Fazlullah-led militants. It is to mention here that the US and NATO keep squeezing Islamabad to launch military action against the militants. However, they remain reluctant to take action when Afghan militants penetrate into Pakistan and launch attacks on forces.
ISAF Commander General John Allen insisted on action against the Haqqani group. He alleged that Moulvi Fazlullah was involved in terrorist activities in Afghanistan and was operating from Pakistan’s tribal areas.
The two commanders also discussed the option of military operation in North Waziristan against the so-called terror training camps.

  1. General Allen came to Pakistan so he can bend kiayani over and stick it in him. I'm sure kiayani enjoyed it. Essentially kiayani is begging Allen for mercy. Since kiayani cannot defend the borders of Pakistan so he is asking Allen if he could use his influence and stop Afghanis from coming into Pakistan and killing soldiers because it does not look good on Pakistan army. When you negotiate from a position of weakness, you get nothing.
