Advisor to PM on Interior Affairs, Rehman Malik, has dismissed India’s claim that the arrest of 26/11 handler Abu Hamza Jundal, and the information he has provided to interrogators, proves that Pakistani state actors were involved in the attacks on Mumbai in 2008. “Hazma is Indian. India is failing to control its citizens,” said Rehman Malik while talking to media. “I told (Home Minister) Chidambaram that Hindu extremism is growing in India,” he added. Asking India to put an end to blame game, he said if any Pakistani involvement was there, we had requested India to provide proof.
“We have to have a way forward to see the situation resolved. We want solid proof to substantiate allegations,” he added. “Each time India has accused the ISI of involvement in a terror attack, it has been proved wrong. We are proud of the ISI. The role ISI has played in the war of terror is recognised worldwide and it is defending Pakistan”, Malik said. In discussions with India about its own investigation and trial for those connected to 26/11, Pakistan had told India that Abu Hamza had been arrested. When asked how Hamza had then managed to leave the country, Malik said this was not the same man listed in a dossier shared between the two countries. He said India had also messed up the Samjhota Express investigations. Online

  1. Pakistan should stop acting as a judge but must assume the role of a responsible neighbor, who should further investigate, if it thinks the more needs to be dug into the case. Being in denial mode since Kabayali raids in Kashmir in 1948 has brought Pakistan in this situation.

  2. PART_1:Now, Rehman malik is saying , Abu Jundal is an indian. When did India contest his nationality. He was an indian before Pakistan Govt issued him a Pakistani passport to take him into Let group called 'strategic asset'. Even then, India is accepting him to be indian.
BUT, this is great but, why was pakistan trying to prevent he being handedover to India by Saudi Arab?
AND, why Pakistan was requesting Saudi Arab to handover Abu Jundal to Pakistan?
Mr. Rehman Malik, there is a saying "Jhoot ke paanv nahin hotte".
AND, this is not only a question of Pakistan taking or not taking any action against its owned terrorists, state or non-state.
BUT, it should be a question by Pakistan to Pakistan itself, which path does it want to tread on national and international level?

  3. PART-2: •The sane civilian society of Pakistan seems to have already lost the ground to Jihadi Islamists, otherwise these groups under whatever name they have, could not have been roaming free and spitting islamic venom against India and other countries from open public platforms without any action being taken against them. Govt of Pakistan – if there still remains a semblance of that away from shadow of Jihadi groups enjoyimg the safe cover of extremists infilterated army – has lost the will to govern.
Damaging actions of Pakistan against other countries and then, remaining continuously in ‘Denial Mode’ are slowly and slowly leading to a war-like conditions from where there will be no return and nobody will be the winner.

  4. Pakistan army seems to be unable to digest the fact that they have the Nukes and they can not use it against India. Some GENERALs are loitering with Nukes in their hand aimlessly. These GENERALs are going through sleepless nights and insomnia. That is why, the GENERALs are precipitating a nuclear confrontation with India. All adamently repeated terrorist actions against India are the indications towards the same aim. Jihadis in civilians and in the army seem to be just unable to visualise the result, the complete annihilation.
