The Government of Sindh has constituted a Commission to take up the cases of innocent citizens who have lost their lives or injured during 2012 as a consequence of law and order situation/ political violence.
The Commission shall also assess the losses of movable and immovable property and recommend to the Provincial Government for compensation in such cases.
It was also mentioned that such commission was also constituted in 2011 and submitted its report within the stipulated time. In view of the recommendation of the Commission cheque amounting Rs.200,000 has been issued to the legal heirs of deceased persons individually in 2011 killed due to law and order situation / political violence.
The Government of Sindh will also compensate to the deceased persons who sustained loss due to law and order situation/ political violence in 2012 as after submitting the report of Commission.
