Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain had a telephonic conversation with head of the PML-Q, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Deputy Prime Minister Chaudhry Pervez Elahi on Tuesday. Altaf greeted Chaudhry Pervez Elahi on his becoming Deputy Prime Minister, said a statement issued by the MQM. The MQM chief expressed hope that the Deputy Prime Minister would play his role to take initiatives for resolution of the basic problems of the people.
