3,000 vacancies approved for FATA: minister

Minister for States and Frontier Regions (SAFRON) Engr Shaukatullah Khan has said the incumbent government has put a great struggle for uplifting and development of the FATA on priority basis.
While chairing a high level meeting on Sanction of New Employments (SNEs) and Annual Development Programme for FATA, the minister said that 3000 new posts have been approved. These posts will distributes among the FATA Agencies with transparent and clean process, he added.
The Minister further said that such initiatives for the people of FATA will be started so that they will enjoy better standard of life and would usher in a new era of the people’s empowerment in Fata. The Minister urged Fata Development Authority (FDA) to accelerate its efforts for completion of under process projects. He further directed the FDA that all development activities must be made public to create trustworthy situation in the region.
The minister appreciated the role of FATA Parliamentarians for resolving the deadlock in FATA employment and said that it has possible with the special attention and cooperation of FATA Parliamentary Leader Munir Hussain Orakzai and all FATA Parliamentarians.
FATA Development Authority gave a presentation on FATA Development Programmes to Federal Minister for SAFRON and FATA Parliamentarians. The presentation was also attended by the Federal Secretary for SAFRON Habibullah Khan and high officials of M/O SAFRON.
