The Sindh High Court (SHC) Monday disposed of an application regarding the Swiss letter to be written by the newly-elected Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf. Hearing the plea, the SHC’s divisional bench discharged the plea seeking court order for the prime minister to write Swiss letter, remarking that the same issue was pending before the Supreme Court (SC); accordingly, the high court could not interfere into this. It should be mentioned here that the former Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani was disqualified by the apex court for not obeying the court’s orders for writing the letter to Swiss authorities to open graft cases against President Asif Ali Zardari.
