The Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI) has condemned the incident of robbery during which gold worth over Rs45 million was stolen from a jewelry shop. In a statement issued here on Monday, the HCCI president Seth Goharullah alleged the incidents of crimes were constantly rising in the city and the traders were working in an environment of fear.
He urged the police officials to curb the rising crime in the district so that the business activities could grow. “The HCCI is working hard to bring investment including that from the foreigners from Hyderabad. But such a climate of fear will stall all our efforts to grow the city’s economy,” he said.
Goharullah offered the police officials complete cooperation of the business community towards eleminating the crime and nabbing the criminals.
