Pervaiz Ashraf visits Bhutto family graves in Ghari Khuda Bux

Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf visited the graves of the martyrs of Bhutto family here on Sunday. Firstly, he visited Mazar of Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto and then he went to the mazar of the founder of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, offered Fateha and laid a wreath.
He also visited the grave of Madre-i-Jamhoriat Begum Nusrat Bhutto and offered Fateha. Besides, the prime minister visited the graves of Mir Murtaza Bhutto and Mir Shahnawaz Bhutto. Recording his impressions in the visitors’ book, Raja Pervaiz Ashraf paid tribute to Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto and Begum Nusrat Bhutto for their immense contributions for the cause of democracy in the country.
The prime minister mentioned that democracy was restored in the country owing to the contributions of the Bhutto family.
He also vowed to carry forward the mission of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto. Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, federal ministers Qamar Zaman Kaira, Syed Khurshid Shah, Nazar Muhammad Gondal, Syed Naveed Qamar and Manzoor Wattoo, advisers to the PM Rehman Malik and Dr Asim Hussain, MNA Ramesh Lal and provincial ministers Muhammad Ayaz Soomro and Agha Siraj Durrani were also present. The prime minister also reviewed the development works at the mausoleum and saw the library and other sections. Syed Khurshid Shah and Muhammad Ayaz Soomro briefed the prime minister about the development works.
PM declares city a national
heritage: Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf declared ancestral place of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto (Garhi Khuda Bakhsh Bhutto) a national heritage. The announcement was made at a reception hosted in his honour by PPP District Larkana, at Garhi Khuda Bakhsh Bhutto, on Sunday. He also announced that he would fulfill the promise made by former prime minister Yusuf Raza Gilani of making Garhi Khuda Bakhsh Bhutto a model village. The federal government would bear expenses of the project, he added. On his way back from Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto, the prime minister waved to the waiting crowd who were chanting slogans ‘Jeay Bhutto Sada Jeay’ and zinda hay bibi zinda hay’.
Governor, CM call on PM

Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan and Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Shah called on Prime Minister Raja Parvaiz Ashraf here on Sunday at the Governor’s House. The governor and the chief minister congratulated Raja Parvaiz Ashraf on his election and on assumption of the Prime Minister office. They said that his (Raja) premiership will definitely ensure continuity of the democratic process in the country. The Chief Minister said that election of the Prime Minister with overwhelming majority clearly suggested that the coalition partners were determined to defeat anti-democratic forces who were busy in hatching conspiracies to harm the democracy in the country. Earlier, the Prime Minister along with Federal Ministers visited Garhi Khuda Bakhsh to pay tribute to Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto.
