A grandson on Friday severely tortured his grandparents and ousted them from the house which he had fraudulently got transferred in his name. Reportedly, Nawab Din, 95, was living with his wife, Khursheed Bibi, 85, in a two-marla house in the Fatomund area near Sialkot Road. On the day of the incident, Saleem ousted them from their own house which they had built with great hardships. On resistance, he severely tortured his grandparents.
He also thrashed his mother for favouring the grandparents. As the locals of the area reached the scene, Saleem locked the house and fled away. The residents shifted the elderly couple to the civil hospital. Nawab Din, talking to Pakistan Today, said that Saleem took the documents of the house from him on the pretext of getting loan from a bank, but he fraudulently transferred the house in his own name and ousted them from their own house.
