As many as 500 new tubewells would be installed in Sindh to help control water logging and salinity and promote agriculture.
This was stated by the Chief Secretary of Sindh, Raja Muhammad Abbas. He said that these tubewells would be run through the solar energy. The out of order tubewells would also be repaired to make them functional.
