Punjab University Teaching Department won the PU Inter-collegiate Super League defeating PU Hailey College by five wickets here at the New Campus ground on Wednesday.
Teaching Department completed the target of 153 runs for the loss of five wickets.
Punjab University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran, ICC Elite Umpire Aleem Dar, Imran Farhat, Shafiq Papa, Azhar Zaidi, cricketer Ahmed Shahzad, former cricketer Manzoor Elahi, Chaudhry Akram, Director Sports Prof Dr Mansoor Sarwar, Additional Directors Sports Attia Mumtaz and Shamsa Hashmi were among the guests. Hailey College scored 203 for 8 wickets. Inter-Collegiate Super League 2012, which started earlier this month, was participated by four zones including Lahore, Gujranwala, Faisalabad and Rawalpindi and each zone consisted of 10 to 12 teams.
