Social accountability training held for teachers

Sustainable Development Policy Institute (SDPI) has organised a training workshop for public schoolteachers on Interpersonal Communication and Teaching skills and Social Accountability in Education” here on Wednesday. The training was aimed at introducing social accountability tools to public schools teachers and equip them with necessary communication skills to enhance their quality of interaction with students. Ahmad Salim Khwaja, senior adviser, SDPI said that there is need of introducing interactive mode of teaching where teacher and students can freely interact in a congenial learning environment. Shanaz Tareen, Former ADO, Education Department KPK said, a child can only become productive member of society when he has the spiritual, physical and mental development through a quality education.

  1. its a very productive and fruitful effort. we need an accountability system in our educational system,otherwise no positive change is possible in this regard
