Police, in their ongoing drive against anti-social elements, on Wednesday arrested eight accused for their alleged involvement in carrying illegal weapons, drugs and liquor from different localities of the city.
Morgah police apprehended Wasim and recovered three bottles of liquor from him, while the city police arrested a drunkard Tahir. Pirwadhai and Race Course police nabbed Fayyaz and Abdul Wadood respectively for possessing illegal weapons. Cantonment police arrested four persons for their involvement in illegal gas decanting in residential areas.
