A French diplomat accused of raping his three-and-a-half-year-old daughter was arrested by Indian police on Tuesday morning, local media reported.
Pascal Mazurier, who works as the deputy head of Chancery at French Consulate in Bangalore, was taken into custody at 6.30am on Tuesday and taken for a medical examination.
