Punjab University (PU) in collaboration with Pakistan Science Foundation (PSF) and the Institute for Research Promotion (IRP) is going to organise a one day workshop on “Invention to Innovation Summit-2012” on Monday (today), June 18 at 9:30am at the Al-Raazi Hall, Center for Undergraduate Studies.
PU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran will preside over the ceremony while Minister of State for Science & Technology Rahela Shahadat Baloch and Federal Secretary for Science & Technology Akhlaq Ahmad Tarar will be the guests of honour. There will be talks on the present and future of research and on the improvement of research trends and culture in Pakistan.
About 30 stalls displaying inventions from various researchers will also be placed in the Summit.
