Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Women Wing Lahore President Faiza Malik said on Sunday the PPP would soon resolve the issue of power outages.
Talking to the women workers at her office, she said the PPP did not believe in empty slogans but was taking practical steps for the betterment of people.
She alleged the Sharif brothers were always behind conspiracies against democracy but the PPP had protected democracy by making great sacrifices.
She urged the PML-N leadership to follow the Charter of Democracy by leaving its personal interests as any harm to democracy would eventually damage the country.
She said further that enemies of the Pakistan People’s Party were enemies of democracy and the people of Pakistan.
“Every worker of the party is with Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani in the struggle for strengthening democracy,” she said.
