The Sindh Olympic Association in collaboration with Pakistan Olympic Association will organize the World Olympic Day by organizing various events during June 21 o 23 in Karachi. Sindh Olympic Association has formed a four member committee headed by Veena Ma sood and members are, Muhammed Khalid Rehmani, Abdul Hameed, & Saeed Jamil SOA & Mac Donald’s will cover the cost of these celebrations. On 21st June a Art competition fro young artists shall be held at Frere Hall from 11 am onwards. Entry is free for all. Organizers will provide sheets and colors to all participants, and top three positions holders will get awards and certificates. Samina Raja , Suhail Usman and Atif Ali ( well known artists) will be the Judges. On 22nd June, various sports events shall be held at more than 15 venues of city in the afternoon a seminar under the Olympic Values Education Program of IOC will be held at Mac Donald Tariq Road Karachi at 4 pm. 100 participants will attend the seminar and participation certificates shall be given to them, Veena Masood, country representative of Olympic Values Education program will be the main speaker.
