TTP accepts Kohat blast responsibility

Tahrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has accepted the responsibility of Kohat bomb blast that had killed seven including four policemen and wounded eight.
Talking to a private TV channel on Sunday, main spokesman of TTP, Ehsanullah Ehsan claimed responsibility for remote control bomb blast in Kohat, in which four policemen were killed. He said that the TTP would continue attacks on police and security forces.
The spokesman also denied any involvement of TTP in Landi Kotal bomb blast. He said that some other militants group may be involved in the blast.
Kohat DPO, Mubarak Zeb said that the militants had planted the bomb in a pushcart near ‘Nahar Lari Adday’, which was exploded by a remote control when a police mobile passed by that killed four policemen aboard mobile and three passers-by on the spot.
Meanwhile the death toll in Landi Kotal blast has reached 27 while over 50 injured are receiving treatment in different hospitals.
The victims of Saturday’s bomb blast were laid to rest on Sunday.
The markets and business activities remained closed to mourn the death of innocent people.
Political administration has announced Rs10, 000 for each injured person in the blast.
at least 27 people were killed while more than 50 were injured in the blast that rocked a crowded market of Landikotal.
An eyewitness said most of the casualties were fruit and vegetable traders who were beside their roadside push-carts at the time of blast.
