Two persons including an activist of a political party were shot dead and four others were injured in different firing incidents here on Saturday. According to police sources, a political worker was killed and two others injured in a clash over hoisting flag at Hali Road in Shafiq colony. The deceased was Mujahid Tunniyo and injured were identified as Kamran and Mustafa Solangi. Police and Rangers have been deployed in the area after the incident. In another incident, a man Intizar was kidnapped and later found in critical condition at Hatri bypass. He succumbed to injuries in hospital. Two other people were injured in different firing incidents in Panyari and Sireghat areas.
Hyderabad clash leaves 2 dead: At least two men were shot dead while one was injured in an armed clash between two rival groups here on Saturday, police said. According to the details, the incident occurred at Haali Road area of the city when the two groups opened fires on each others. As a result, two persons were killed while one was injured. Tension prevailed in the area after the incident. Angry people staged a protest against the incident and set tyres on fire. Police have started investigations into the incident.
