At least four people including a policeman were killed in the ongoing firing incidents in the metropolis. The recent firing incidents occurred in Garden, Jahangir Road and Metroville areas of the city. According to police sources, a 45-year man Razzaq Muhammed was killed in a firing incident near Jilani Masjid in Garden East. Body of the deceased was brought to Civil Hospital. In a firing incident in Jamshed Quarters area of Jahangir Road, two motorcyclists gunned down a youth Asif. Later on, residents of the area protested on Jahangir Road against the incident. A firing incident that occurred near Rehri chowk in Site Area of Pathan Colony, killed a constable Abdul Qayyum while he was standing outside his house and injured another man. Both the deceased and the injured were brought to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. Another man Adnan was critically injured in a firing incident near Paposhnagar Cemetery in Nazimabad. All auto parts markets of the city remained closed in the protest against murder of a trader in auto parts market at MA Jinnah Road. Meanwhile the city police arrested four target killers involved in over 30 target killings. Police conducted raids in the city areas of Garden and Kharadar and arrested four target killers. The police seized firearms from their possession. The recovered weaponry includes four hand grenades, three 7MM rifles and four pistols, according to police sources.
