After intervention of the high ups of Sindh Government, the management of Hyderabad Electric Supply Company has restored the power connections of Water and Sewerage Agency of Hyderabad Development Authority, which was disconnected on Thursday last following non-payment of outstanding dues. The Commissioner Hyderabad Division Ahmed Bux Narejo informed here on Friday that the Governor Sindh Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ibad and Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah have directed the HESCO management to restore all connections of WASA installations. After restoration of the power connections of the pumping stations of WASA, the water supply to over two million people of the urban population of Hyderabad City, Latifabad and Qasimabad has been started with immediate effect, the Commissioner informed.
