Pakistan Tehreek Insaf (PTI) President Javed Hashmi said on Thursday that real estate tycoon Malik Riaz has kept two ruling major political parties in his pocket.
Talking to the media at the Lahore airport after returning from Germany, Hashmi called the Dr Arsalan Iftikhar case an attempt to defame the judiciary, adding that while playing in the hands of some forces, Malik Riaz had attacked the dignity of the superior court.
He said Malik Riaz is a guardian of several political parties in the country, adding that all those who want to deprive the people of their rights were involved in this scandal.
“Every person who commits a crime should be punished according to the law without any discrimination, including Dr Arsalan if he is found guilty,” Hashmi said.
He pledged that PTI will support the judiciary till its last breath.
