At least five persons were killed and four other injured in separate incidents of violence in the metropolis here on Thursday.
According to police sources, a man was shot dead by some unknown armed men in Machar Colony while a sack-packed dead body was found in Khada Market in Lyari area. Two persons were critically injured in firing by some unidentified motorcyclists in Federal B area and one of the victims succumbed to injuries at hospital. A man was shot dead in Manghopir area and 25-year-old Awais was killed in firing by unknown motorcyclists in Kalakot area of Lyari. His body was shifted to civil hospital.
