A 19-member delegation comprising of students from various universities of Bangladesh, as part of their study tour, visited Greenwich University Karachi.
A spokesman of the institution said here on Wednesday that the students belong to Jahangirnagar University, University of Rajshahi and Chittagong University.
Most of the students are from the department of Mass Communication and Humanities. The Vice Chancellor of Greenwich University, Ms Seema Moghul, addressing the students said that bilateral study tours are always very fruitful in knowing each others’ academic environment and culture.
She said that Greenwich University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dhaka university which will go a along way in promoting research and benefitting from each others experience. Seema said that the visit will promote harmony and goodwill between Pakistan and Bangladesh. The Leader of the delegation Professor Dr Abul Khair, on this occasion spoke about the role of the universities of Bangladesh, which they are playing for the growth and development of Bangladesh. He said that universities have played a very important role in the expansion of pharmaceutical industry of Bangladesh. The Vice Chancellor of Greenwich University, Ms Seema Moghul, gave certificates to the visiting students. The delegation visited various departments of the University and appreciated the facilities provided to the students.
