Denying the allegations of real estate tycoon Malik Raiz, a spokesman of Balochistan government on Thursday denied that Dr Arsalan is staying at Balochistan House in Islamabad.
Malik Riaz had claimed in a private TV channel programme that Dr Arsalan was staying in a suite at Balochistan House.
The spokesman informed that there is no suite of chief minister at the Balochistan House.
He said that there is only an annexe which is vacant at the moment.
Obviously, he did not book a room in his name. Iftikhar's stance in open court with the Holy Quran in front of him that he did not know what Arsalan does for a living and the way he tried to claim innocent ignorance of hi-fi European vacations of his wife and all children speaks volumes to prove he tells lies very comfortably. It will be a tragedy if he goes unpunished. We were in a wave of anti-Musharraf sentiment, but today we know his Reference was 100% correct. Now, in hindsight, we know we were badly let down by the 12 judges in 2007 when they did not let Reference consideration on merits but killed it on manipulated technicalities.
