Chief Minister Punjab Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif taking the notice of gang rape of an eight-year girl in Jhang has ordered quick arrest of the five rapists.
Shahbaz Sharif on Tuesday visited the house of the victim girl and met her family. He also announced Rs 0.5 million compensation for the rape victim’s family and assured to bring the culprits to book.
It should be mentioned that 8 year Mehwish, a student of class two, was gang raped in Jhang’s remote area Chand Bhirwana on May 19, when she was coming back home from school.
The rapists also made video clips of their shameful act. They also threatened the girl, saying they would kill her father and brother if she told this to anyone.
Why don’t they understand there’s no price of a human life and its honor? Why don’t we have stricter laws and their implementation? I feel sorry for the girl and all such men and women who face injustice in Pakistan. May Allah save our country. Infact this is not enough. This is not enough. You Shahbaz Sharif and Rana Sanaullah need to resign! Your Punjab police just killed a nurse Robina on the streets of Lahore yesterday! You have failed miserably in protecting the lives of even women! resign!
