Protest against police, Rangers’ action in Orangi, Karachi

Residents of Faqeer Colony, Orangi Town staged a protest against unjustified police and Rangers’ raids and arrests on Tuesday.
More than 50 suspects have been arrested in two days by police and rangers in the area.
In reaction, a large number of people including women and children, protested against the police and rangers action.
The protesters also blocked the road, suspending traffic for a long time.
They demanded early release of the people, saying innocent people were arrested.
Police used baton charge to disperse the protesters.
Tension prevailed in the area and more contingents of forces were called in the area.
